━ Intel
immersive exhibition environment where African heritage, technology, and education came together
Intel required a flagship exhibition stand for a leading education expo that would do more than showcase products; it needed to communicate Intel’s commitment to innovation, education, and the future of learning.
The brief called for an environment that would:
- Create a memorable and immersive visitor experience
- Reinforce Intel’s leadership in education and technology
- Encourage interaction rather than passive observation
- Integrate product demonstrations, hospitality, and collaboration spaces
- Tell a story that resonated with African educators, partners, and decision-makers
The challenge was to create an exhibition environment that balanced powerful storytelling with modern technology, allowing visitors to experience the Intel brand in a meaningful and memorable way.
Our Approach to the Task
We believed the most powerful exhibition experiences begin with a story.
Rather than designing a conventional exhibition stand, we developed a concept inspired by one of Africa’s oldest traditions of learning, gathering beneath the shade of a tree to share knowledge and ideas.
1. A Story at the Centre
This insight became the foundation of the entire environment.
At the heart of the stand stood a custom-designed six-metre architectural tree that served as both a striking visual landmark and the focal point for every visitor journey. Every technology demonstration, engagement zone, and meeting space radiated from this central feature, creating an intuitive flow that naturally encouraged exploration and conversation.
2. Designed for Engagement
The environment was carefully planned to encourage participation rather than simply display products. Interactive technology demonstrations, education experiences, digital content, and collaborative meeting areas were integrated throughout the stand, allowing visitors to experience Intel’s innovations in a hands-on and meaningful way.
A fully integrated hospitality area further enhanced the experience, encouraging visitors to spend more time within the environment and creating opportunities for deeper engagement with the Intel team.
3. Modern Design Meets Cultural Inspiration
While the concept celebrated African learning traditions, the architectural language remained contemporary and refined. Premium materials, integrated LED lighting, concealed technology, digital displays, and custom joinery combined to create a sophisticated environment that reflected Intel’s position as a global technology leader while remaining authentic to the story being told.
What was delivered
We delivered a flagship experiential exhibition environment that combined storytelling, technology, and architectural design into a single, cohesive brand experience. At its centre stood a custom six-metre architectural tree, around which every visitor interaction was carefully orchestrated. The stand featured interactive technology zones, immersive education experiences, digital displays, meeting areas, and a fully integrated hospitality space, all supported by premium finishes, custom fabrication, and concealed technology integration. Every component was manufactured and finished to the highest standards, ensuring a seamless installation and an exceptional visitor experience from the moment the exhibition opened.
Result
The final environment successfully transformed Intel’s exhibition presence into a destination rather than simply another stand on the exhibition floor.
